Family Fort

We made a whole fort out of the family room and watched a movie together.  Of course this was a couple of years ago.  The kids keep begging me to make a fort again.  We did a great job I think!

We had to some popcorn to go with the movie.  Devan was so cute because he would call the movie Diarrhea of a Wimpy kid. Lol!

Our park

We love the monkey park by our house.  Right near the water feature is a cute metal arbor with monkey's hanging down.

This is where Gary and I run and rollerblade.  We look at ducks, heron, and people boating.

What a great view!  I love it and Gary and I always comment on it during our run/ rollerblade.

Devan throwing rocks.  Gary and I are sitting in chairs just watching him.

I hate strawberries...

...I think. Mom and dad are so mean for making me eat one.

See that little speck of a strawberry on my plate???? I threw a huge fit because I had to try it.

Converse

How many shoes do you need? Cay knows what she likes and sticks with it. She has been wearing converse since 5th grade.  Apparently she hoards them too.

Bear

Just some pictures I found of Dev with Bear, his best friend.  I have so many of these.  I will be truly sad when he doesn't carry around that  bear anymore.

Just sitting on the stairs at Nana's house (CA).

Sleeping bag on mom and dad's bedroom floor with bear.  I wonder what Dev is dreaming about.

Dev left his bear at auntie Andrea's house and she had to ship it to us because he was so sad without his best friend.

This picture was taken about two years ago.  Yes, the bear had to be in the picture.  I have found some old pics of Dev as a baby and will tell the story of how he got that bear soon.

Kyle

My sister-in-law Rachel texted me the most beautiful story.  She said that she got the best anniversary gift from her son today.  She has a stepping stone in her yard that says, 'If love could have saved you, you would live forever.'  She was showing her husband  Jim the plant that her parents got her and there were two doves standing on it.  She wrote that it was perfect and a sign from Kyle.

Here is the yard:

I love her yard!  First of all it is large, and I just want to sit on that bench.  Kyle was an infant when he passed away and there are moments that I will never forget as long as I live about his time on earth.  I hope every time the family is sitting on that bench they feel peace.

Here is a picture Rachel sent me of the stone that is near the bench:

I know you are smiling down on your family!
